Said the dark stranger once again . The patrons looked at him with fear, astonishment or disgust. Except for a girl that was not concerned by the great man as she approached the wolf and hugged it.

"I like you." She spoke softly into it's ear. "Here!" She handed him a small glass of juice...

With an astonishing rip of speed the stranger threw himself on an empty tankard and almost litterly drowned himself!

Its a magic tankard, silly

The magic tankard: an heirloom of great importance...nobody knew *why* it was magic, bit it WAS certainly a tankard. A tankard that had been drunk out of for four generations! The receptical of many a fine brew this tankard had kept man and boy safe as a weapon for self defence and a trusty companion through dark days.

The current "curator" of this heirloom was busy trying to remove a rather nasty dent from the side of the tankard. His mind wondering back to the previous evening's antics, he wondered if.......
